Mr Muddle

What a treat is in store for families during the Swallowfield Show this year. Mr. Muddle the children’s entertainer & magician will be attending to create some magical mayhem with his acclaimed comedy magic show & balloon twisting!! To mark the occasion, he’ll debut his magical Duck Eric and will even attempt to make an Elephant disappear! So, he’ll be on the lookout for a magician’s assistant or two to help him!! Why not come along, you never know you may end up waving a magic wand as part of your visit to this year’s Swallowfield Show.

Victoria BeeBee

Fronted by the commanding & powerful vocals of songstress Victoria BeeBee , ( Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel) and her band,  deliver a powerhouse performance every time they hit the stage. This dynamic group blends popular classic rock, soul & blues with electrifying original tracks that leave audiences wanting more. With a line-up of seasoned, high-energy musicians, get ready to be moved, as the band bring a fresh edge to timeless sounds—raw, real, and unforgettable.

Rachel Hayward

Steel Pan Soloist

Celebrating forty years of joyous music making! 2025 marks the ruby anniversary of the foundation of the Radcliffe Rollers – where Rachel first learnt to play the steel drums. The Rollers were one of the outstanding school steel bands of the day becoming Saturday Superstore Superstars in 1986, performing at The Schools Prom (Royal Albert Hall, 1987) and winning many prizes and accolades. Since that time Rachel has performed throughout the world, bringing her unique pan stylings to thousands. She performs solo, with innovative musical arrangements of repertoire which ranges from calypso and reggae to pop standards and classical favourites, giving them her own special twist

The Turn

The Turn are an experienced local 4-piece band, featuring a sensational lead guitarist, excellent 3-part harmonies, and a solid rhythm section. The audience can expect to hear a varied and well-polished performance consisting of classic rock covers of instantly recognisable material, by artists such as Thin Lizzy, Pink Floyd and The Eagles

NOA

Noa :- is a 15 year old singer songwriter from Hurst with a passion for music and art. Since playing for us last year Noa now regularly performs in Maidenhead and has a summer full of exciting events., so we are pleased to be able to invite Noa back for a second year to hear her mixture of covers along with her own compositions such as November Days and You’ve Changed.

Beatroots

Beatroots is Reading’s community Samba drumming group. It has been running since 1996 and has performed at many major events and festivals including WOMAD, The Thames Festival, London Millennium, London 2012 and Bargain Hunt!
Influenced by the Bahian, Samba Reggae rhythms of Salvador’s Pelourinho, Beatroots is now one of the UK’s longest established community samba drumming groups

The Fleet Rock Orchestra

Formed in January 2023 this multi-instrumentalist group brings together a large number of musicians for weekly jam sessions and occasional local performances, giving players of all ages a reason to pick up their instrument and have fun playing some of their favourite hits. With 4 clarinets, 3 guitars, 3 flutes, 3 saxophones, 3 singers, 1 cello, 1 bass and a drummer their repertoire includes popular rock and pop songs with a ‘big-band’ feel and sound. Everything from Frank Sinatra to Elvis Presley, David Bowie to Adele, all played as you have never heard them before!

The Phoenix Ukulele Band

The Phoenix Ukulele Band are a large group of ukulele lovers from all over Berkshire. Meeting in Winnersh and Caversham they have been playing together for over eight years, formerly as No Strings Attached. They love to entertain the local community and regularly gig at local clubs, retirement homes, town centres, fetes and private functions.  Phoenix are delighted to be invited back to Swallowfield Show again this year.

Yateley Morris Men

Continuing this quaint English pass-time, Yateley Morris Men are a side who dance in the Cotswold tradition. They were formed in 1975 so are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year. Practicing on Tuesday evenings from October through to April, in the summer they appear at local pubs on Tuesday evenings and various other weekend events around the UK or even abroad. We welcome their return to Swallowfield Show both on the Village Green and in the Activity Zone
