We are extremely pleased to announce the following acts at this years Show.
Paws for Thought Dog Display team
Providing excellent entertainment for all ages, this “all breeds” team includes a large number of rescue dogs. Be amused by the dog races, fun agility, Police type work, tricks and exceptional commentary, delivered in a relaxed and entertaining style. As many children as possible are invited into the arena to cheer for their chosen team. Be amazed by dogs jumping through fire, a Jack Russell ladder walking plus the now famous original back-walking dogs! Be impressed by the short, snappy obedience routine, which shows what can be done with family pets, which are mostly rescue dogs, performed to accompanying music. Child and adult participation, including games and tricks is encouraged, culminating in a “meet the dogs and team” session. The team have appeared at Crufts, BBC Countryfile Live, Discover Dogs, Pets, The Pet Show, Animal Road Show, Royal Three Counties, Royal Welsh, Royal Bath & West Show, London Pet Show and similar prestigious events, including numerous TV appearances such as Britain’s Got Talent, Alan Titchmarsh show, CBBC Who let the dogs out and about plus Paws in the Park.
Ray Prior Falconry Displays
Ray Prior is one of the leading falconers in the country with a wide selection of beautiful birds for display that will provide an entertaining, educational and awe-inspiring performance. Falconry displays make an excellent addition to a large variety of events. The demonstrations are accompanied with a fun, educational commentary by Ray
The BMX Show
The only BMX team in the UK, that are able to move in and out of a shared arena. With the BMX Show you can expect the riders to to fly through the air performing the most breathtaking tricks and stunts. Only the very best BMX riders will be performing in the BMX Show (including RedBull athletes) to guarantee you see the most impressive tricks – usually only seen on TV. Tricks include the audience favourite – ‘The Backflip’
Classic Wheels
The Classic Wheels Parade in the main arena, has become a firm favorite for the audience as they enjoy the parade of truly magnificent vehicles. Spot a vehicle you like, then go and see its owner after the parade and get an even closer look. Now attracting over 100 vehicles on both days, a wide variety of cars, motorcycles, tractors and commercial vehicles is assured.
Reading Scottish Pipe Band
Formed in 1957 by former pipers of the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders they have an an extensive repertoire of Scottish music including Slow Airs, Marches, Strathspeys and Reels . A regular to the Show, they really are not to be missed.
