APRIL UPDATE

As you may have heard on the news earlier in the year, the bridge in Church Road outside the entrance to the show site was damaged by a lorry on Wednesday 11th February.

As of the beginning of April a temporary barrier has been erected, (see picture below) and single file vehicle movement traffic under traffic light control is in place.

Whilst this temporary solution enabling the use of the bridge is in place, the usable width of the bridge has been severely reduced restricting it’s use by larger vehicles.

We are currently waiting for an update from the council on what is the plan is for a more permanent for restoring the normal use of the bridge. Please check the show website prior to the show for any changes to the access arrangements.
