Other Entrance Details

This page details the showground entrances that should be used by groups other than the standard entry points for the general public.

We make use of the What3Words application that allows a far greater level of accuracy in pinpointing locations compared to that possible using postcodes etc. This is very helpful as the showground is a large site built in what is a large grass field, ( except in the week of the Swallowfield Show), within the Farley estate.

In order to get to the correct location within the showground it is necessary to firstly use a primary entrance (not open to the general public), onto the site and then drive to a secondary entry gate to get to a part of the showground appropriate to your activity

There are alternative entrances which should be used for the following groups of attendees:-

  • Disabled Drivers
  • Performers/ Acts
  • Speakers
  • Dog show entries
  • Traders
  • Exhibitors

All the above groups should enter the site via:-

Main Site Vehicle Entrance (incl. disabled drivers)

///throw.shaped.pretty

Note Horse show entries DO NOT use this entrance use, ///call.fully.clear instead

On show days, once you get to this point, stewards will direct you to the appropriate parking location. It is IMPORTANT that you have your showground pass printed and on display on your dashboard to assist the stewards. You will be directed to the secondary site location detailed below. If you don’t not have your pass on display you will be directed to a holding area NOTE:- THIS IS LIKELY TO DELAY YOUR ENTRY TO THE SITE OR ENTAIL A WALK TO YOUR FINAL DESTINATION

Below are site entry points / parking beyond the initial site entry. These provide a more precise location within the actual showground site for reference. Car park marshals will direct you accordingly, guided by your car park pass, ( which must be displayed on the dashboard ). The exception being disabled visitors who will not have passes but should instead simply inform marshals of their requirement to use the disable parking area.
