This page details the showground entrances that should be used by groups other than the standard entry points for the general public.
We make use of the What3Words application that allows a far greater level of accuracy in pinpointing locations compared to what is possible using postcodes etc. This is very helpful as the showground is a large site built in what is a large grass field, ( except in the week of the Swallowfield Show), within the Farely estate.
In order to get to the correct location within the showground it is necessary to firstly use a primary entrance (not open to the general public), onto the site and then drive to a secondary entry gate to get to a part of the showground appropriate to your activity
There are alternative entrances which should be used for the following groups of attendees:-
- Disabled Drivers
- Performers/ Acts
- Speakers
- Dog show entries
- Traders (outside of showtime )
- Exhibitors (outside of showtime )
All the above groups should enter the site via Main Site Entrance
and the use the secondary site entrance gate detailed below
