If you ask someone to name something traditionally English many will say Morris Dancing. In one form or another Morris Dancing has been performed in England for well over 500 years. Since 1975, the Yateley Morris Men, who are passionately proud of our English folk dance heritage, believe in doing whatever they can to keep the tradition alive. It brings pleasure to those who participate and to those who simply want to enjoy watching the show.

Yateley, a village tucked away in the North East corner of Hampshire. The Morris Dancer’s members come from a wide surrounding area and the side dances traditional English Morris dances from Cotswold villages such as Bampton, Adderbury and Eynsham and of course our own Swallowfield!
